To Carolyn: Amen ! It's not just the Blue Dog Democrats, but the Corporate greed that can't help salivating over one of our Government's more successful programs. This lump of gold, that lies their has the mesmerizing attraction of Homer's Sirens that wafts through the brains of our Wall Street friends conjuring up schemes that would convince us that they could handle our treasure so much better. God help us.

How can I help. I have the definitive arguments against the move to slash social security and medicare.

see the chapter on social security at:

http://www.moslereconomics.com/?p=8662/

The current arguments DO NOT CUT IT as they miss critical points of actual monetary operations needed to dismiss all of the deficit hawk arguments.

Thanks,
Warren Mosler

Democrats, especially Blue Dogs, must be stopped from offering up these hard-won victories in order to get Republican cooperation. If all the Democrats stood together, families could sleep at night.

My response to the deficit commission can be found at my blog post, "Entitled, You Betcha!"
